Naz! I listened to parts 1-4 on Spotify, but wanted to share my thoughts here.

I first became acquainted with your work from your Bad Boys interview, and was BLOWN AWAY by your star power. The way you made those legends eyes light up! It was so apparent you made them feel appreciated, honored, and TRULY SEEN!

I then watched the Dune 2 interview which you BODIED! You had completely arbitrary restrictions placed upon you, YET YOU FINESSED IT!

I can only imagine the frustration you felt— why was the company you were bringing so much value to acting like the evil stepmother??

It’s so icky to even contemplate, but it feels apparent that someone was not happy with how bright you were shining.

The movie studios want NAZ! The stars love NAZ! The people love NAZ! They really shot themselves in the foot letting you go. The way you move is so organic and a breath of fresh air to the industry—how could they stand to cast you out??

I love that you made it a point to include your consciousness in your interviews. Your authenticity and personal growth and awareness are so clearly evident and cathartic. YOU ARE HUMAN.

I’m happy that you have this outlet to express and release that negative energy simply by telling your story. Looking forward to part 5, and what ever is next for you🫶🏽

NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST NAZ SHALL PROSPER 🗣️🗣️🗣️

I think you learned two very valuable lessons that we all learn eventually: 1) always follow your gut, it never lies to you and 2) most corporations pull you along while you build their brand and make them rich and then one day without any advanced notice, they give you the yellow slip ( aka FedEx breakup letter).

You’re incredibly talented and you know what your passion is. Maybe the universe is helping you find a way to BYOB with your own brand and be able to freely do what you love 🤪

BYOB = Be Your Own Boss (NOT Bring Your Own Booze) 😉

Dear Naz, the fact that you processed this with humor, perspective and self awareness is a testament to your strength. And while the lack of acknowledgment from certain people was deeply hurtful, it doesn’t diminish your impact. Those years mattered. You mattered! I’m really looking forward to Chapter 5. Your voice and your storytelling is needed now more than ever. The best is yet to come! 🤗
